Using the Screen-Sharing Tools
You can perform screen-sharing tasks using the screen-sharing toolbar, the Sharing Tools palette, and the Tools menu.
If you have permission to present and are a current presenter the screen-sharing toolbar appears and is available above the shared area when you click the Screen Sharing tab.
As soon as you start sharing, a floating Sharing Tools palette of icons appears. This palette provides quick access to the most common screen sharing tasks, including icons to stop sharing and allow and reclaim control of your screen.
The table below describes the toolbar and Sharing Tools palette buttons.

Share Screen |
Share an open program with other participants. When you click this button, you choose what you want to share (the entire screen, a resizable rectangular frame, or a currently running application). Available on the toolbar only. When you start sharing, your availability icon in the participants list changes to show that you are sharing your screen. |

Stop Sharing |
Stop sharing information at any time, even when another participant controls your screen. Once clicked, the Sharing Tools palette closes. Available on both toolbar and Sharing Tools palette. |

Allow Control |
Allow other participants to control your screen, no matter which method of sharing you are using (the entire screen, a resizable rectangular frame, or a current running application). Available on both toolbar and Sharing Tools palette. |

Reclaim Control |
Take back control of your screen. Available on both toolbar and Sharing Tools palette. |
|
|
Take Control |
Take control of the shared screen. Use your mouse and keyboard to make changes to the information. Available on the toolbar only. |

Release Control |
Stop controlling the shared screen to allow others to control it. Available on toolbar only. |

Switch to |
Switch to sharing something else. Available on both toolbar and Sharing Tools palette. |
